“Emma! I’m totally speechless!! Ahh they are totally incredible – thank you thank you thank you! We are absolutely thrilled with them and we are so happy to relive so many beautiful memories. What a treat! You’re an absolute dream.”

Nick and Zoe said ‘I Do’ on a cosy December winter’s day. Backdropped against the serene Strangford Lough in County Down, Northern Ireland, they created an intimate and heart-warming day for their nearest and dearest. I’ve known Nick and Zoe for a few years and I was thrilled when they got it touch about photographing their wedding. Years before I had photographed Zoe’s sister Leigh-Ann’s wedding so it was extra special to be invited back into the family circle again.

Nick and Zoe are two incredible humans and their wedding day was full of true emotion; tears, joy and laughter. The way these guys look at eachother, you can just see it on their faces how deeply and madly in love they are with one another. It is a very special thing to witness and an even bigger honour to capture and immortalise forever. The happiness and love on this day was palpable, and that is testament to what brilliant people Nick and Zoe are along with their kind and welcoming families.

Zoe got ready with her girls in the cute Rose Cottage in Greyabbey, before the beautiful ceremony at Orange Tree House just down the road. After the ‘I Do’s’ we headed to Mount Stewart, a 19th-century house and garden rich with design, then returned to Orange Tree for food, drinks, music and dancing the night away. This wedding was a vendors dream, I loved working with some amazing suppliers such as Flowers By Mee, Ivory and Pearl, Bogart Menswear, Claire McEvoy Make Up, Kelly White Hair and of course the team at Orange Tree House and Mount Stewart. Nick himself is an extremely talented designer and created a gorgeous visual identity for the day, running through the invites to the guestbook record player. Everyone was just incredible on the day.

Thank you Nick and Zoe for inviting me in to all of your moments and allowing me to capture this winter dream for you. You guys are two utter dreamboats and it was such a pleasure.
