“Oh my gosh where do we start! They are absolutely incredible! We wanted to say how appreciative we are of your skills and professionalism – you were so incredible on the day and you really put us at ease.”
Such an incredible day capturing Henry & Alison’s relaxed and unique warehouse wedding.
The day began with an intimate first look in a special area of beautiful trees, planted by hand many years ago by Alison’s Dad near their family home. It was such a precious moment, and we took the opportunity to take some photos around the greenery before heading up the road to Belfast.
Set in Portview Trade Centre, East Belfast, this wedding was filled with personal touches. Henry and Alison took an empty space and made it their own. Alison, who is a talented illustrator, curated all design elements – including custom decor, stationery, signage, a tile seating plan and amazing cake table, to name a few. With the help of the lovely Rachel (one of my past brides!) from A Quiet Life Studio, every detail was thoughtfully crafted with sustainability and enjoyment in mind.
Candlelit dinner vibes with sweeping city views made the evening even more magical. Seasonal veggie bowls were shared and using local suppliers like neighbouring Boundary Brewery, Henry and Alison created a relaxed, personal atmosphere.
It’s always an honour to document couples who truly make the day their own. Thank you both for welcoming me in so warmly and trusting me to capture your vision for your day!
